My son and I have recently become interesting in high altitude ballooning. Actually, we have always been interested in ballooning, but found we don't have the courage to actually ride in a balloon. So, we discovered the next best thing - launching small objects up into the sky instead! We joined a group called the Treasure Valley Near Space Program and are having a great time learning all about balloons, science, and amateur radio. What a perfect leisure activity!
